Al steken we best wel wat foto’s in onze reisverslagen en andere verhalen, blijkbaar is dit onvoldoende volgens sommige van jullie. Dus vind je hier niet alleen links naar wat meer foto’s, maar bovendien foto’s met een hogere resolutie dan die in de reisverslagen. Deze verzameling blijft groeien, dus kom af en toe hier kijken of er iets nieuws is.

Although we put quite a few photos in our travelogues and other stories, some of you don’t seem to think it’s enough. So, not only will you find links to more photos here, they often have a higher resolution than those in the travelogues. This photo collection continues to grow. So come check here every now and then to see if there is anything new.

In het verleden sleepten we een camera mee met vele lenzen, maar naarmate de tijd voortschrijdt wordt de uitrusting steeds kleiner. Later alleen nog een kleine compact camera die minder ruimte inneemt in de koffer. Uiteindelijk gaat alleen nog de mobiele telefoon mee, die soms betere foto’s produceert dan de dure uitrusting van vroeger.
Onze eerste digitale camera had een resolutie van 2 Megapixels, in tegenstelling tot de 12 Megapixels van en modern mobieltje. Tel daar bij op dat je niet een grote hoeveelheid lenzen en ander accessoires hoeft mee te slepen en de keuze is al snel gemaakt.
Als je een van deze foto’s extra mooi vind en je wilt het zelf gebruiken, dan kun je altijd even een berichtje sturen. Wij sturen dan de desbetreffende foto op of stellen hem beschikbaar via een een link. In the past we carried a camera with many lenses, but as time went on the equipment became smaller and smaller. After a while, only a small compact camera was used that takes a lot less space in the luggage. Nowadays, only the smartphone lasts, which sometimes produces better photos than the expensive equipment of the past.
Our first digital camera had a resolution of 2 Megapixels, in stark contrast to the 12 Megapixels of more modern smartphones. Add to that the fact that you do not have to carry a large amount of lenses and other accessories with you and it’s the best choice.
